From above the trees
The drone shows what a ridge can't: a logging road threading through spruce, a dock's shadow on green water, a highway running straight into the Nevada desert. Most of these were flown over the Okanagan, with a few from Red Rock Canyon and Zion.
After dark
“Looking up on a clear, dark night reveals countless wonders beyond our world, and allows you to get a true sense of our scale and place within our universe.”MATT BLAIR
Deep-sky objects through a Seestar S50 smart telescope, and the Milky Way and aurora over Bryce Canyon and the Okanagan on a Sony a6300 and Nikon D3500.

Based in Kelowna, usually somewhere else
I'm Matt Blair, a landscape photographer in Kelowna, British Columbia. Home base is the Okanagan, and most trips head south to the canyon country of Utah and Nevada, or west to Vancouver Island and the Rockies.
I shoot on the ground, from a drone, and through a telescope. Replace this with your own story: how you started, what keeps pulling you back to these places, and what someone gets when they buy a print or hire you.
